The 2 best beaches in Numana
Numana is a small town on the south side of Conero. The town area falls within the Conero Regional Park. The center of the town is at the top of a hill and the beaches are divided by the small touristic horbour; on the north side “Numana Alta” and in south side of the hill “Numana Bassa“. The town has got a long history. It was founded by ancient Picene warriors; a lot of statements of this civilizations are preserved in the local Antiquarium museum.
The north side coast is closed to Sirolo with two beaches: la Spiaggiola and Spiaggia dei Frati, a jagged coast with rocks and wood behind; the south side has got a lot facilities and tipical fish-restaurants. Here you can find also hotels and campsites in front of the sea.
